Peruvian Film Festival in Dublin: A Cultural Experience with Happy Llama

Peruvian Film Festival in Dublin: A Cultural Experience with Happy Llama

🇵🇪 A Little Piece of Peru in Dublin

Last Friday, Dublin became a little closer to Peru.

As part of the Peruvian Film Festival in Ireland, organised by the Embassy of Peru in Ireland, audiences gathered at Light House Cinema to experience powerful stories from Peru — including the moving film “Through Rocks and Clouds” (2024) directed by Franco García Becerra.

But something unexpected happened beyond the screen.

🦙 Bringing Peruvian Culture to Life

At Happy Llama, we were invited to be part of this special evening — not just as a brand, but as an experience.

After the screening, attendees had the opportunity to interact with our handmade baby alpaca llamas.

People smiled.

They touched the softness.

They asked questions.

They connected.

For many, it was their first real contact with alpaca fibre — one of the softest and most luxurious natural fibres in the world.

✨ More Than a Product — A Cultural Connection

What we witnessed that night confirmed something important:

People don’t just want to see culture.

They want to feel it.

Happy Llama was created to bring a piece of Peru to Ireland — not only through handcrafted pieces made by Peruvian artisans, but through moments that create emotional connection.

Each llama carries:

Peruvian craftsmanship

Cultural identity

A story that travels across borders

🇮🇪 Peru Meets Ireland

Events like the Peruvian Film Festival in Dublin show how culture can unite people from different parts of the world.

At Happy Llama, we are proud to be part of that bridge between Peru and Ireland.

This is just the beginning of creating more interactive cultural experiences across Ireland.

🛍️ Experience It Yourself

You don’t need to wait for an event to feel it.
