That is exactly what happened when Happy Llama Ireland created a unique sensory storytelling experience inspired by Peru as part of Cruinniú na nÓg, proudly supported by Creative Ireland and Galway City Council.
The workshop welcomed families from across Galway and quickly became fully booked, bringing children and parents together through storytelling, creativity and authentic Peruvian culture.
What Was the Happy Llama Sensory Experience?
The experience was designed to introduce children to Peru through all their senses.
Rather than simply watching or listening, children were invited to explore, touch, imagine and create.
Throughout the workshop they experienced:

• Patrick the Llama's journey from Peru to Ireland

This special event formed part of Cruinniú na nÓg, Ireland's national day of free creativity for children and young people.
Supported by Creative Ireland and Galway City Council, the project celebrated creativity, cultural diversity and learning through play.
